In Seven Soldiers, an amazing story about a group of green beret, during the Vietnam War, bravely set out on a mission that will change their lives and bank accounts for ever. The mission is to go to the Golden Triangle and relieve the drug lords of their cash and gold bars. The Golden Triangle, where much of the world's heroin comes from is not even in Vietnam, yet these brave soldiers are ordered to serve their country and complete the secret mission.
The Golden Triangle, a no-mans land of 350,000 square kilometers of rugged, mountainous terrain covers portions of Burma, Laos, Thailand and China. The wealth generated by the heroin production and distribution pipeline was simply indescribable. The governments of communist China, Laos, Burma, Thailand and even both Vietnams vied for some portion of the profits generated from the mountainsides of the Golden Triangle. There were no rules or laws or even working agreements. He who had the power ruled.
Seven Soldiers, by Philip B. Storm is a true story, about the mission to the Golden Triangle which if successful would bring incredible riches to those involved.

How Do Soldiers Serving in Vietnam Become Millionaires?
A great question. The years were 1964-1965. Green Berets on a dangerous mission. If they succeed the will become millionaires - It is a true story.
As one soldier explains the mission to his buddy - "We have a chance to both serve our country and get very rich." After two soldiers join Special Services they are immediately thrust into a situation that takes them to an area neither had heard of before, the Golden Triangle. The target is the billion dollar drug trade, the poppy fields of Southeast Asia, which supplies much of the world's heroin. They are to take currency and gold bars worth billions and in turn each will be rewarded with a "token of appreciation" worth millions in Swiss bank accounts.
Is the mission a success, do the two soldiers, Stott and Sharkey complete the mission, and do they become millionaires?

Seven Soldiers - The Story Kept Quiet for Over 45 Years
"Truth is the First Casualty of War." At no time in our country's history was that more true than during the Vietnam War. Seven Soldiers is a story that needs to be told for the glory of the story. Its part of the war you havent read about.
We were just following orders. How many times have we heard that, but never in this context. How a group of Special Forces sets out on a dangerous mission to the Golden Triangle, bravely complete the mission and end up being significantly rewarded by the U.S. government. Why tell the story now, and why change the names of those involved? Over the 45 years since the mission, we have lost many of those involved. The remaining soldiers "were just following orders."
This book sheds new light on the historical record of the Vietnam War, and is essential reading for all historians and those who bravely served our country.

Free Help for Soldiers - Give An Hour for Military Veterans
The Give an Hour mission is to develop national networks of volunteers capable of responding to both acute and chronic conditions that arise within our society. Their first target population is the U.S. troops and families who are being affected by the current military conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. Give an Hour™ is asking mental health professionals nationwide to literally donate an hour of their time each week to provide free mental health services to military personnel and their families. Research will guide the development of additional services needed by the military community, and appropriate networks will be created to respond to those needs. Individuals who receive services will be given the opportunity to give an hour back in their own community. http://www.giveanhour.org/skins/gah/home.aspx
