A great question. The years were 1964-1965. Green Berets on a dangerous mission. If they succeed the will become millionaires - It is a true story.
As one soldier explains the mission to his buddy - "We have a chance to both serve our country and get very rich." After two soldiers join Special Services they are immediately thrust into a situation that takes them to an area neither had heard of before, the Golden Triangle. The target is the billion dollar drug trade, the poppy fields of Southeast Asia, which supplies much of the world's heroin. They are to take currency and gold bars worth billions and in turn each will be rewarded with a "token of appreciation" worth millions in Swiss bank accounts.
Is the mission a success, do the two soldiers, Stott and Sharkey complete the mission, and do they become millionaires?
